Aslak Siimes is an award winning industrial designer. He has worked across a wide range of diciplines spanning through sectors from consumer electronics to transportation and interiors to luxury goods.
Born in Kemi, in the sea Lapland region of Finland in 1988, Aslak has lived and worked in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London, and most recently in Beijing where he co-directed the Industrial Design Team of United Design Lab. Currently he resides in Helsinki where he runs his newly founded studio. Aslak received his Master’s Degree in Design Products - Object Mediated Interactions from the Royal College of Art, London, and has ever since hauled the deep interest towards robotics, the intersection between digital and physical products as well as interactions and habits.
