Some objects do not seek attention. They settle into daily life, picked up without thought, trusted through repetition. The cushion compact is one of them. Carried in bags, held in the hand, present in small moments throughout the day. Yet many are designed for first impression rather than lasting use.
With Blank Me 半分一, we began with feeling rather than form. The Halo compact was shaped through close observation of everyday behaviour. Small gestures, brief pauses, familiar routines. Each decision responds to these moments.
Halo is designed as a system. The case supports a range of inserts, allowing it to adapt over time. It responds to change rather than fixing a single way of use.
This is not a reinvention, but a refinement. A design shaped through attention to detail, to gesture, to the moments often overlooked. It becomes part of daily life, not by standing apart, but by fitting within it.
The form is reduced to its essentials. At 22.5 millimetres, the case is slim, light, and easy to carry. A magnetic lid opens with one hand and closes with a soft, assured click. Inside, the structure is refined for simple refill replacement. Clear, intuitive, and without waste.
The hinge is designed to bring the mirror closer to the face, offering a more natural view. The refill is non directional, working equally for left and right hand use. Nothing requires explanation. It feels immediate and understood.
