CurifyLabs PharmaPrinter Aurum addresses a fundamental gap in modern medicine. Treatments are mass-produced, but patients are not.

Up to 30 percent of commercially available medicines fail to meet patient-specific needs. When standard therapies fall short, compounding pharmacies rely on manual processes that demand precision, consume time, and introduce risk.

PharmaPrinter Aurum redefines this workflow through a controlled, semi-automated approach to non-sterile compounding. It introduces consistency, repeatability, and precision into a process that has traditionally been variable and operator-dependent.

At its core, the system is built around precise control of dosage and material behaviour. A patented syringe attachment architecture combined with a modular hot-end enables accurate dispensing of semi-solid formulations. An integrated balance continuously verifies output in real time, ensuring mass uniformity throughout production.

Rather than automating isolated steps, Aurum supports continuous workflow. Interchangeable modules enable multiple dosage forms, including tablets, films, suppositories, and troches, within a single system. Prescriptions move seamlessly through production without interruption, enabling flexible and efficient operation.

The physical design translates these principles into practice. Transparent protective covers maintain visibility while shielding sensitive compounds. Continuous surfaces support efficient cleaning between batches. Interaction is reduced and intentional. The syringe system can be installed and removed with one hand, while a detachable heating jacket enables rapid material exchange. Integrated lighting and a visible scale window provide immediate process feedback and reduce reliance on external checks.

Each element is designed to minimise variability, reduce cognitive load, and support confident operation.

Developed in close collaboration with pharmacists, Aurum improves process reliability while significantly reducing preparation time. It allows professionals to focus on clinical decision-making rather than manual execution. PharmaPrinter Aurum is part of a broader ecosystem where hardware, software, and consumables are developed together to support a fully integrated compounding workflow.

Recognised with the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Best of the Best, Aurum demonstrates how industrial design can translate pharmaceutical complexity into controlled, repeatable, and usable systems.
